Late Summer 1994: Framing the second floor

 August 1994:

Paul Stabler, Matt and Phil Ketchen helping out.
As we framed the second floor, I built a makeshift gantry crane on the side of the house to haul materials to the second floor.  It was easier than carrying everything up a ladder.

Matt learning the trades. Phil Ketchen in the background.

There was no time to worry about windows, just plywood over them, winter is coming.

The walls went up pretty quickly, we were an experienced crew at this point.

It was a family affair, in this picture, Me, Dad and Matthew are all working.

By the end of August, the second floor walls were up and the building was ready for a roof.
