2017: The new footers.

Not long after construction of the barn, the cement pad starting showing signs of cracking. It appeared that it was sinking on the perimeter, but it was determined much later that it was the material expanding underneath.
We could not just watch it get worse so decided to have the barn raised and proper footers put under the walls.
We hired Nop's Metalworks out of Middlebury to do the job.

The barn was raised so that new footers could be poured.

By the end of May the barn was back together on its new foundation.
